I’m Esther & first things first, screw small talk & pleasantries! Let’s get straight to the juicy goods. I take photos & I bloody love doing it. Think: wild fun, easy flowing, candid + natural. Just you and your beloved tribe doing life in the simple and tender moments of this fleeting world. I'm a destination photographer, which basically means it doesn’t matter if you’re a 5 minute drive on google maps or situated smack bang on the moon, I will be there to capture all your love & adventure. I'm a little left of field from your usual 'white shirts with denim jeans' that your mother has had hanging on the walls since 2002. I’m way more interested in connecting with you in a very much “come as you are” sort of sense; silly, daring, dauntless, free-to-be!
I’m based in Australia between Murwillumbah on the north east coast of NSW, Mparntwe, NT (Alice Springs), + also Bunbury, in the south west of WA. That’s my version of home for now; gypsy like. Life is a wild ride that has taken me all over and to the ends of the earth (see what I did there?). I will travel anywhere your little heart desires to still frame your moments.
Some things you should know before you jump straight in…
I’m not going to tell you to pose awkwardly or make you fake it till you make it. Eckk. Nope nope, sorry not sorry. We are ONLY here for the so caught up, emotionally driven, sweet magnolia style teary, raw + real love stories. Those in between moments are the true darlings of our time, and it’s my joy + delight to actually take the time of day and bring these experiences of yours to life.
One thing you never have to fret with me is the jittery nerves of being in front of a camera. I love creating safe spaces for you & your lover to be comfortable and present with each other, so much so that you forget I’m even there. Here is where your children can be messy & are free to run around untamed, beautifully in their element (hello!? Me in a nutshell). This is an experience for you to relax into all the tender times & thoroughly enjoy every second of your photography session. Weddings, lovers, families, all seasons of motherhood, branding, your next exciting adventure; I’m so excited to come along & snap it all up for you!
I’m in love with natural light & all the sun kissed glows, natural & timeless interactions between you & your people, savouring the essence of your personalities. Life is so unknown, chopping & changing frequently, which is why we should never take it for granted.
